I always think of shrimp cocktail as a very summery dish. Perhaps this is because one summer, way back in the 1900’s, our family vacation became an all-out shrimp fest.

Long time no blog. Since we last spoke, we’ve had a trip to Kentucky, a baptism, a six-month birthday, a baby shower (not for us!), and a couple of great recipes. We have a LOT of ground to cover, and I thought I’d start with the seemingly simple endeavor to get a photograph of two sweet cousins — Cooper (Big Baby) and Eleanora (Little Babe) — together. Here is the account of that attempt.
