Well THAT summer flew by. We’ve been awfully busy since this precious person — who looks just like her daddy — came into the world. (Warning: sub-par iPhone pics interspersed with “real” photos. Most days it’s the best I can do.)

We’ve been watching Charlotte “Cheeks” Duffy grow…

… and grow…

… and grow.

We’ve had visits from family.

We’ve been trying to catch some Z’s…

… but the effects of sleep deprivation are starting to show.

And Big Sister started school. Like, SCHOOL. In this house we are living proof that the hours go by slow, but the years go by fast.

Believe it or not, I’ve actually been getting dinner on the table most nights of the week. The next step is finding the time to get some of those new recipes onto the blog. Here’s a sneak peek of quiche to come.
