We’ve been back from our Kentucky trip for a few weeks now, but I’m just now getting around to posting these photos. It’s my cleaning lady’s fault, or my EX-cleaning-lady, I should say. I could launch into a fuming diatribe about that, but suffice it to say my pet tornado and I are currently cleaning lady-less. Therefore, my to-do list has gotten a lot longer. (If anyone has a recommendation for a reliable housekeeper, the Duffys are hiring.)
Anyway, here’s Eleanora in Kentucky with her cousin Cooper. 🙂
Here he is demonstrating why he is unable to share his swings with her:
And here’s Eleanora with her Poppy:
And check out how Tucker and Lucy Delle — Eleanora’s newest cousins — have grown!
We also went to the pumpkin patch, which — as advertised — was Bushels of Fun.
We were back in California for Halloween.
Eleanora went trick-or-treating with her cousin Liam, who is 3, as well as her uncle Tim, who is an adult, and who not only wore a costume for trick-or-treating, but also wore it to work that day.
Here’s everyone getting some candy! Except Tim.
Eleanora loved everything about trick-or-treating, from the creepy mist…
… to the glow stick lanyard that made her easy to spot in the dark…
… to her snazzy purple Halloween bucket.
Afterwards, she ate her first candy bar, a peanut butter Snickers. When I asked her if it was yummy, she declared it, “A taste sensation.” I would have to agree.
Thanks to our Kentucky family for a wonderful trip, and to our California family for a super fun trick-or-treat!
xoxo,
