I started this blog a little over a year ago.

It was going to be a fun little project for me as an outlet for writing…

… and as a way to keep our families – who live mainly in Philadelphia, PA and Lexington, KY – in the loop.

I posted a lot of recipes, and The Lexingtonienne sort of evolved into a food blog.

Then we had Eleanora, and I started including photos of her in almost every post.

Eventually I became concerned that you might think, “This woman is obsessed with her kid. Enough already!”

Almost 6 months

So I made some posts that were just about the food – such as balsamic dressing and chess bars – with no Eleanora photos.

Almost 6 months

And the overwhelming response was, “More Eleanora!”

Almost 6 months

Hannah

P.S. Eleanora is making her first trip to Kentucky this week, so we’ll be taking a little break from the blog while we spend some time with family and get this baby baptized! Full report to follow. Talk to you next week!

Thank you for all of the gorgeous photos of sweet Eleanora! I am so excited to hold her and kiss her a lot (!) this weekend!

I think you have created a great blend of baby photos and recipes. I love your blog for the variety in it. Keep it up!
