How was your Thanksgiving? I have to admit, with my psychotic OCD schedule, it was the smoothest Thanksgiving ever. We had so much fun with family and friends, and for the three days following, we enjoyed a nice, easy weekend. So you see? Sometimes it pays to be a little… obsessive. Here are a handful of photos from our Turkey Day, courtesy of my brother-in-law Tim.

Liam really wanted to get into the kitchen to help…

… but resigned himself to being the entertainment instead.

Believe it or not, I actually married this guy…

… and he is the master chef behind this fabulous creation:

And here are a few of the side dishes I made…

It was a fun day and, luckily, there were no disasters. 🙂

Sister-in-law Casey and her super-cute top graciously camouflaged me…

Oh okay fine — here it is! (Thanks a lot for this one, Tim.) As of today, we have just four more weeks to go!

Four solid days of cooking and cleaning, and one 30-minute meal later, the kitchen was officially closed for business (except for the microwave, of course, which was used to reheat leftovers all weekend).

From this point forward, Eleanora & I might start scaling things back a little bit, seeing as, at 36 weeks pregnant, my back is starting to let me know when there’s been a little too much standing and leaning over in the kitchen. Oh yeah, and there’s also Christmas presents to get shipped out, not to mention that nursery that’s not quite finished yet! 🙂

But something tells me I won’t be able to stay out of the kitchen entirely…

Have a great week, y’all…
Hannah
