Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An Elementary Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide specialized instruction to young learners aged 34 years in an itinerant role. This position is based in Bossier City, Louisiana, and serves students within their homeschool settings, daycares, or Head Start centers. The role requires traveling between multiple school sites and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons that align with state and local curricula.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized instruction that meets diverse learner needs while fostering a positive and engaging learning climate.
• Leading IEP meetings promptly and ensuring full compliance with special education regulations.
• Conducting rigorous progress monitoring of student goals and maintaining accurate electronic records.
• Collaborating effectively with parents, community partners, and school personnel to support student success.
• Organizing mobile learning environments and integrating technology to stimulate participation and academic growth.

Qualifications and experience:

• Valid Louisiana Special Education teaching certification is required and must be current.
• Experience with early childhood special education, specifically working with 34-year-old students.
• Strong ability to develop and deliver developmentally appropriate instructional strategies for young learners.
• Proven skills in IEP development, compliance, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills to engage with families and community partners.

This is a full-time, onsite contract position running through May 19, 2026, with approximately 37.5 hours per week. The role is ideal for educators passionate about early childhood special education and flexible in providing services across multiple locations.
