Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. Coordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters. Assist Network Engineering team with equipment lifecycle planning and installation, as well as development of technical specifications for procurement of Enterprise LAN equipment. Coordinate with the Network Engineering team for the placement and cabling of LAN equipment within the network enclave. Development of market research for new equipment and provide recommendations to Government POC. Provide input on LAN designs and architecture as required. Perform lab testing of LAN equipment. Provide knowledge transfer to the LAN government staff. Track assigned projects, provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Government POC. Effectively task, track, monitor and report on tickets, projects, and special assignments within their area of responsibility./ph3Qualifications (Must Haves)/h3pFive (5) years of progressive LAN experience including at least two projects in network management. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years. DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT-II. Computing Environment: CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE.
