Salary: 40K + Commission (Average Commission 60k - 75k NO CAP!)

JOB SUMMARY:

 

As a Leasing Agent, your primary responsibility is to showcase and lease apartments, townhomes, or condominiums to potential residents while actively supporting the property's marketing initiatives in the Philadelphia Temple area and surrounding suburbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing lease agreements and collecting rental deposits.
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of lease terms, specifications, and policies.
  • Applying effective telephone and sales techniques.
  • Staying well-informed about current market conditions and trends.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of rental rates, unit sizes, locations, and property amenities.
  • Establishing and maintaining contact with apartment locator services and local businesses to distribute informational materials.
  • Conducting regular competitive property analysis.
  • Developing expertise in the application process, screening procedures, and rental policies.
  • Conducting outreach marketing efforts at least once a week.
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of resident and property files.
  • Maintaining and updating the Logbook (Google Calendar).
  • Efficiently processing all required administrative forms, reports, and related information.
  • Reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

 

  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effective oral communication skills for interactions with customers and colleagues.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

 

  • Competence in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY:

 

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
  • Capability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • The physical demands for this role include:
