Coordinating across clinical, technical, and operational teams. Managing risk assessments and mitigation plans. This function is foundational and often consumes the largest share of time, especially during pre-work and configuration phases.
Facilitating communication between IT, clinicians, Epic, consultants, and leadership. Leading steering committees and advisory councils. Preparing and presenting status reports, decision summaries, and SBARs. Managing communication and organizational change alignment.
Customization of Epic modules to meet clinical and operational needs. Decision tracking for build options and workflows (e.g., Orion building blocks). Coordination of specialty-specific workflows (e.g., resident attestation, APP supervision). Integration with third-party systems.
Overseeing end-user training and readiness. Supporting go-live stabilization and KPI tracking (e.g., Gold Stars, MyChart adoption). Lead post-live optimization efforts. Ensuring alignment with compliance, legal, and patient experience goals.
Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure. Performs related duties as required.
