Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs within a Minnesota school district. This role focuses on individualized instruction, collaboration with school teams, and supporting students academic and behavioral success. This is an Elementary Level Caseload.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Provide specialized instruction tailored to students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
Utilize data-driven strategies to monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license (or eligibility to obtain).
Previous school-based experience preferred. ASD experience is wanted.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
