Job Title: Commercial Flooring Sales & Estimating Associate
We are a growing commercial flooring company seeking a driven, detail-oriented professional to join our team in a Sales & Estimating role. This position is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience and to learn the flooring business in its entirety—from first client contact through job completion .
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new business and build long-term client relationships
Client-facing sales, presentations, and follow-ups
Prepare accurate estimates using take-offs, blueprints, and floor plans
Read and interpret construction documents, cost sheets, and specifications
Perform material and labor take-offs
Use Excel proficiently to build estimates, track costs, and manage data
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to fully organize jobs from award to completion
Assist with pricing, bidding, and proposal preparation
Qualifications:
Experience in commercial flooring, construction, estimating, or sales preferred
Strong understanding of blueprints, floor plans, and construction documents
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects
Professional, client-focused mindset
