Happy Monday! My kitchen was closed this weekend, as we focused instead on some other projects around the house…

Hubba Bubba built Baby Girl’s crib…

… while I (sans makeup, you’ve been warned) worked on painting our old bed that is now going to be a guest bed. I wanted something kind of Shabby Chic-ish and thought a layer of semi-glossy Swiss Coffee would do the trick.

It’s coming along. I’m putting on the final coat today and will post photos of the finished product when it’s all put together. (I don’t want you to think our house looks like this much of a wreck all the time. It usually does not.)

I’ll be getting back into the kitchen today though so should have a recipe for you tomorrow. Also, I’ve gotten a lot of really great requests and will start in on some of those here soon.

Have a great day!
Hannah

    Hannah,

I adore your home and you and Mike are creating such a pretty light filled home for the third roommate!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the pictures of her and that she is shown beside her monkey who is just a smidgeon longer than she…but not for long!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am knitting a baby blanket for Eleanor but by the time I finish it she will be in high school. Maybe this one will be for her sister?!!!! Love you sooooo. Hug Mike and the little one for me.
